Your first day in Lamia will be an opportunity to explore the area and discover the most important attractions and landmarks. Starting from Thermopylae, you will have the chance to explore one of the most historical sites in the region. Thermopylae is the place where the historic battle between Greeks and Persians took place in 480 BC. The statue of King Leonidas stands there in honoring of his and his 300 Spartans heroism. 

Heading towards Gorgopotamos, a beautiful river surrounded by lush vegetation and impressive landscapes, you can relax and enjoy the natural beauty and imposing view of the historic Bridge. 

After a stop at Alamana, at the monument of AthanasiosDiakos, return to the center of Lamia, where your tour can visit the cenotaph of AthanasiosDiakos, a landmark of particular historical significance. Next to the cenotaph, you have the opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine in the cobblestone narrow streets of Lamia. Enjoy traditional flavors and try local products in an authentic atmosphere. Your first day should end with a refreshing drink at Eleftherias Square, a lively destination where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the city.

The second day is full of interesting activities and attractions. Starting from Laou Square, you can go up the steps to the Castle and the Archaeological Museum. The third day is full of adventures near the picturesque village of Ypati! Start with a visit to the Monastery of Agathonos, one of the most impressive monasteries in the area.
